Day 2 of the Choctaw Casino Resorts $1,700 Main Event saw 167 players come into the day with their hopes of making it to the final table of and after nearly 14 hours of play, ten players remain. Leading the way is Shomari Williams who bagged 5,015,000 at the end of the night.
Williams entered the day a little over the average chip stack with 272,000 in chips and steadily progressed throughout the day. His biggest hand came in the last level of the night in a four-way pot.
On a board that showed , action was checked to Vincent Moscati who fired out 300,000 from middle position and Jesse Solano announced a raise to 1,100,000 on the button.
