Dinner Break

The Main Event has completed nine levels so far today and the players are getting ready to go on a 60-minute dinner break. The tournament clock currently reads a total of 641 entries with 405 players still remaining. Late registration will still remain open until the start of level 13 and a single re-entry option is optional.

Heading to the dinner break, Tyler Payne and Adam Jones are a couple of the notable players sitting at the top of the leaderboard. Payne had a big stack brewing on Day 1a but fell short in bagging by the end of the night. He will be looking to change that result today when he returns from dinner break.

Former NFL linebacker, Richard Seymour was seen leaving his seat just prior to the break. This is the first even Seymour has participated in so far at Cherokee and he will likely be hitting up the registration desk once more for his shot at a circuit ring.

When the players return to the felt at approximately 6:30 pm local time, the blinds will be increased to 500/1,000 with a 1,000 big blind ante. Follow along with PokerNews for tournament updates at each break until the internet issues are resolved.
