Vaitiekunas' First Bullet Doesn't Last Long

Level 6 : 200/400, 400 ante

Paulius Vaitiekunas just recently took his seat in the Main Event coming off a final table appearance in the Global Casino Championships. His quest for the Main Event got off to a rocky start as Vaitiekunas quickly saw his stack dwindle to around 10,000 chips.

Vaitiekunas got the last of his chips in the middle with {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and was up against the {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} of Simon Samokovski. The board ran out {q-}{j-}{10-}{j-}{5-} and Samokovski made trip jacks to eliminate Vaitiekunas.

Farrar With Bottom Two

Level 6 : 200/400, 400 ante

On a board that read {8-Clubs}{j-Spades}{2-Clubs}{3-Hearts}. Yoon Cheon went to the turn with his opponent Richard Farrar after calling a bet. The river came the {6-Diamonds} and both players checked after a couple moments. Farrar turned over {3-}{2-} for bottom two pair which was good enough to win and Cheon mucked his hand.

Cutler Doubles Up with Aces

Level 6 : 200/400, 400 ante

After arriving at the table, Derrick Cutler found himself all in and at risk for 11,900. Jesse Carter was his opponent on the other side of the table but Cutler was feeling confident with {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{q-Hearts} and Cutler's pair of aces held on for a double up as Carter's hand was in the muck before it was seen.
