Nagar Gets Value With Queens; Poetra Falls to Shainiuk

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

There was around 100,000 in the pot on the turn with a board reading {2-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs} and Soumitra Nagar bet 50,000 from the big blind. Kelsey Hendricks was on the button and called.

The river came {5-Diamonds} and Nagar bet another 75,000. Hendricks thought for a bit and settled on a call.

Nagar tabled {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} for a pair of queens and Hendricks mucked his cards, cutting out his chips afterward to count his newfound stack as Soumatra raked in the pot.

Meanwhile, Alfie Poetra was eliminated on an adjacent table after shoving his last 190,000 in from under the gun. According to a player at the table, he ran his ace-queen into Roman Shainiuk's ace-king. Shainiuk held and scored the knockout, vaulting him over 2.5 million in the process.
