Young Jams the River

Level 14 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Maxwell Young
Maxwell Young

A player opened to 6,000 under the gun and Maxwell Young called from the small blind. They went heads up to the flop which came {a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. Young checked it over to the preflop aggressor who bet 8,000. Young put in a check-raise to 24,000 and his opponent called.

The {2-Hearts} fell on the turn and Young fired out a bet of 38,000. His opponent again made the call. The {9-Diamonds} completed the board and Young moved all in for his last 84,000. The under the gun player thought it over for some time before the clock was called and his time expired, killing his hand.

Dunkle Hits the Turn to Stay Alive

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Adam Dunkle moved all in from the hijack for his last 26,500. Joe Serock was in the big blind and called.

Adam Dunkle: {q-Spades}{7-Spades}
Joe Serock: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Dunkle picked up a flush draw on the {10-Spades}{2-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop to add to his pair outs. The {8-Spades} turn card locked it up for Dunkle and the meaningless {9-Spades} completed the board.

Wisdom Waits Till The River

Level 17 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Andrew Wisdom
Andrew Wisdom

A player opened to 10,000 from the cutoff and Andrew Wisdom moved all in for effectively 160,000 from the small blind. The big blind folded and the cutoff quickly called.

Andrew Wisdom: {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}
Opponent: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Wisdom was in rough shape and the {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{10-Spades} flop didn't change anything. The {10-Clubs} turn card left Wisdom just one card away from doubling up his opponent. But the {4-Spades} river improved Wisdom to a full house and he sent his opponent to the rail.
