Day 2 of the World Series of Poker Circuit $1,700 Main Event Choctaw Durant starts at noon.
The two starting flights pulled together a total of 983 entries, which was enough to blast by the $1,000,000 guarantee that was set.
A total of 189 players found a bag during the two starting flights and those lucky enough to do so will be returning on Day 2, battling it out for another ten levels of play.
Starting the day with the overall chip lead is Bill Burford who bagged large in Day 1a and he will look to add a deep run to his fairly new poker resume.

Many other familiar faces will be battling it out for a shot at the six-figure top prize and some of which are Tim Burden (320,000), Jake Bazeley (318,500), Charles Johnson (286,500), Eric Salazar (247,000), Andros Ioakimides (196,000), Gregg Merkow (193,000), Nick Pupillo (176,500) and James Pupillo (169,000).
Play will begin at noon local time with blinds picking back up at level 16 where blinds are 2,000/4,000/4,000. The plan is to play a total of ten 60-minute levels and there will be a 15-minute break between every two. A dinner break will take place at the end of level 21 and all remaining by nights end will bag up for the final day.
There will be 189 players returning for Day 2 action with 148 spots grabbing a piece of the prize pool. Starting the day this close to the money might make for some conservative play, but judging by the first two flights the tournament should retain the action-filled play that has been up to this point. A min-cash will be paying $2,549, but all eyes will be on the $256,915 first-place prize that the eventual champion will be taking home, along with a shiny new gold ring.

Sergio Ramirez raised in the hijack to 11,500 and the action folded around to Dave Alfa who made the call in the big blind.
The dealer spread a flop of and both players checked to see the on the turn. Alfa led for 15,000 and Ramirez made the call.
On the river Alfa fired again, this time for 22,000 and Ramirez threw in the chips to call. Alfa tabled for king-high and Ramirez was shipped the pot when he tabled for ace-high.

David Roepke opened for 12,000 from late position and Seneca Ecshy called sitting directly on his left. Action folded around to the big blind where Roy Hall moved all in for 27,500 and was called by both opponents.
The flop was checked to Ecshy who bet 20,000 Roepke folded leaving the two players heads-up.

The flop was checked to the turn where Barker lead out for 15,000 and Ioakimides raised all in getting a quick call from Barker.

On a board showing Casey Diener moved his remaining stack in the middle from the big blind and was called by Kent Buckingham from the small blind.
