Welcome to PokerNews coverage of the World Series of Poker Circuit Harrah's $2,200 High Roller. This two-day event is slated for a 4 p.m. start today from Harrah's Las Vegas.

This is a historic event – it marks the first time that Harrah’s in Las Vegas has hosted a Circuit event since the inaugural season, over 14 years ago.

According to the schedule, twelve levels of 40 minutes each have been planned for Day 1 with 15-minute breaks coming after every three levels and a dinner break after Level 9.

The High Roller will be 8-max and late registration will remain open until the start of Day 2 with unlimited reentries during that entire time.

Players will start with 30,000 chips and if they sit down at the start of Level 1, the small blind will be 100 with a 100 big blind and no big blind ante yet.
