The first day is a wrap in the $2,200 High Roller at the World Series of Poker Circuit Planet Hollywood. A total of 99 entries were registered for Day 1 at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas in this $200,000 guaranteed event.

The field played through 12 40-minute levels on Day 1, and late registration is still open until the start of Day 2 play, scheduled to commence Tuesday at 3 p.m.

Some of the players bagging big at the end of Day 1a included Sean Perry (298,000), Thomas Peebles (256,000) Dan Colpoys (231,500), Marc MacDonnell (196,000) and Tim McDermott (175,000).

The 99 entries brings the tournament close to the guarantee, with only one more entry needed to reach that number. A total of 30 players made it through to the end of the day.

Those who late register before the start of Day 2 will come back with a 15 big blind starting stack, as the blinds will resume at 1000/2000/2000 for Level 13 when the tournament restarts.

Other notables still in the hunt include Eric Baldwin (121,500), Calvin Anderson (69,500) and Arkadiy Tsinis (50,000).

Some of the names not making it through (but still eligible for re-entry) include Bryan Piccioli, Colin Dentan, Upeshka De Silva and Adam Demersseman.

Day 2 is scheduled for 40-minute levels, and the field will play down to a winner Tuesday.
