$2,200 High Roller
Day 2 Started
The second and final day of the $2,200 High Roller in Seminole Coconut Creek (Florida) is now upon us, with 20 players returning at 2 p.m. local time to play down to the eventual winner, who will claim the first-place cash as well as a shiny new ring.
Registration is still open until the start of play and the event should be adding a few more runners before the cards hit the felt, adding to a prize pool that already smashed the $50,000 guarantee that was set.
Coming into the final day atop the chip chart is David DiBernardi with an impressive 174,500 chip count. DiBernardi is a Youngstown, OH native that has amassed over half a million in career earnings with a healthy chunk coming right here in Coconut Creek. DiBernardi's biggest cash came in February of this year for $88,842 and he is in a great spot to add another nice cash to his resume.
Many familiar faces remain in the field including Cord Garcia (124,000), Ian O'Hara (119,000), Sam Panzica (117,500), Brett Bader (89,000), David Prociak (75,000), Jeffrey Trudeau (71,500), and Jake Schwartz (46,500).
Play will restart at level 13 with blinds of 1,000/2,000 and a 2,000 big blind ante. Levels are 40 minutes in length and there will be a 10-minute break after every two levels. There may be a dinner break depending on the length of play and players needs.
