Nicolas Pacifico Eliminated in 10th Place (135,000 MAD)

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Nicolas Pacifico
Nicolas Pacifico

Nicolas Pacifico was left short after he lost the three-way pot where Alexis Ibarrola got eliminated. In the next hand, he was the player that got eliminated from the tournament.

He got his last 215,000 in the middle with {K-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and he was put at risk by Abdelhamid El Khayati with {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}.

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} and the poker dealer was sent to the rail to collect 135,000 MAD, which is approximately €12,600.

A full final table redraw will follow soon after the players had a short break.

Alexis Ibarrola Eliminated in 11th Place (115,000 MAD)

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Alexis Ibarrola moved all in from the cutoff for his last 230,000 and he was called by Hassan Fares from the button. Nicolas Pacifico called from the big blind and they went three-way to the pot.

They checked it down on the {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop, {10-Spades} turn, and {J-Hearts} river.

Pacifico was first to show and he opened up {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}. That would've been good enough to eliminate Ibarrola who had {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs} but not good enough to win the pot as Fares showed [As8s[.

Ibarrola takes home 115,000 MAD (approx. €10,600). One more player needs to be eliminated before to combine to a final table of nine.

Franco Folds the River

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Sonny Franco
Sonny Franco

Najib Bennis limped under the gun and it folded to big blind Sonny Franco who checked.

The flop came down {8-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Franco check-called a bet of 40,000. The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and Franco check-called another bet of 40,000.

The river was the {Q-Hearts} and when Franco checked Bennis bet 75,000. Franco had a smile on his face as he ended up open-folding {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. Bennis was nice enough to show Franco {A-Spades}{10-Clubs} to let him know he made a correct fold.

Franco has been chipping up quite nicely over the last level and is now one of the chip leader of the tournament.

El Khayati His Stack is Rising

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Abdelhamid El Khayati raised from early position to 115,000 and everyone folded to big blind Jimmy Kebe. Kebe took his time and eventually called the bet defending his big blind.

The flop came down {J-Hearts}{8-Spades}{J-Clubs} and both players checked. Kebe fired a bet of 80,000 when the {9-Clubs} was added to the board and he was raised by El Khayati. El Khayati put 225,000 over the line and the action was back on Kebe.

He took his time and eventually got the clock called on him. He folded when he had four seconds left and the pot was awarded to El Khayati.

Play has severely slowed down in the new level with very little action happening across both tables.
