Big Field

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Today's field has already grown to 196 entries. This means that this day is already bigger than yesterday's Day 1A and that the total number of entries stands at 390. Last year's tournament had 486 entries and that means that they would need another 96 entries to tie that.

The biggest WSOP International Circuit Main Event held in Morocco dates back to 2017. The Main Event back then attracted 511 entries.

Le Baron Eliminated by Delpui

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Sebastien Le Baron played on Day 1A but he wasn't able to make it through to Day 2. He tried again on Day 1B and he is one of the first players eliminated today.

He moved his last 2,750 to the middle with {A-Hearts}{8-Spades} from middle position. He had to take it up against the {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} of Thierry Delpui who isolated from late position.

The board ran out {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} and Delpui managed to eliminate Le Baron from the tournament.

Late registration is still open until the start of level ten later today. Players are allowed to do unlimited reentries.

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Julien Mielcarek raised from the under-the-gun position to 400 and he was called by Vincent Brousse from the cutoff and Jacques Benhayoun from the button.

The flop fell {J-Hearts}{K-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Mielcarek continued with a bet of 600. Again he was called by Brousse and Benhayoun.

The turn was the {K-Hearts} and Mielcarek continued with his aggression. He made a bet of 1,400 this time and that was enough to make both of his opponents fold.

Palvini Gets a Shove Through

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

The flop was {K-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and the pot had 2,350 in it. The flop turned out to provide some action as Aziz Zahaf had already 12,000 in front of him over the line. Jeremy Palvini, on the other hand, had his entire stack worth about 28,000 in the middle and the decision was on Zahaf.

Zahaf took his time to figure out what to do and peeked at his cards several times. He ended up folding, sending the pot to Palvini.

Perez Makes Sanchez Fold the River

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Julio Sanchez opened from the button with a raise to 250 and big blind Ruben Perez three-bet to 700. Sanchez called to see the flop heads-up.

The flop came down {6-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Perez continued with a quick bet of 1,200. Sanchez called and the {A-Hearts} turn was dealt. They both checked this time and the river was the {5-Clubs}.

Perez didn't waste any time and he put in a bet of 2,500 on the river. Sanchez didn't want to waste time either and he threw his cards to the muck within seconds.
