Traply Felted by Kempe

Blinds 10,000-20,000

In a battle of the blinds, Peter "MrDagobert" Traply was at risk with the {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} and well ahead of the {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} of table neighbor Rainer Kempe.

However, the board ran out {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and Kempe spiked the ten for the knockout.

Double Knockout for Pecheux

Pecheux Busts Two
Pecheux Busts Two

Blinds 10,000-20,000

Erwann Pecheux had doubled his short stack twice and then suddenly had the best of it on the button when facing two opponents.

Giovanni "HEIZENBERG_G" Zanette: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Evgenii "moskal" Fidchuk: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Erwann Pecheux: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}

No ace appeared on the {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{7-Hearts} board to award two bounties to Pecheux.

Martynenko Remains in Contention

Martynenko vs Adeven
Martynenko vs Adeven

Blinds 10,000-20,000

Big stack "Adeven" looked up a shorter stacked Vlad Martynenko with {k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and was trailing by a lot, as Martynenko had the {k-Clubs}{k-Spades} in the cutoff.

The {j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop opened some back door outs of which the {7-Spades} turn appeared. However, the {2-Hearts} fell on the river and Martynenko doubled.

Difelice Hits the Rail

Blinds 8,000-16,000

A shorter stacked Alex Difelice jammed the cutoff with the {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and "looloo123" reshoved on the button with the slightly superior stack, turning over the {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}.

Neither player connected with the {8-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds} board and the ace played to eliminate Difelice.

Lofberg Busts Ved

Blinds 8,000-16,000

In a battle of 2020 GGPoker WSOP Online bracelet winners, Simon Lofberg had the best of it in a preflop all-in contest when facing Kartik "Mandovi" Ved.

Kartik "Mandovi" Ved: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Simon Lofberg: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} to keep aces in the lead.

Zhang vs Wang

Blinds 8,000-16,000

The bid of Sihao "Mr_3rdBullet" Zhang to win a second WSOPC ring during the current season has come up short for now.

He got it in preflop with the {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds} and was dominated by the {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades} of Guiyang "xiaoyao888" Wang. The board came {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for the kicker to play and that spelled the end for Zhang.

On a board of {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}, neither player connected and Anzio claimed the bounty.

Rainer Kempe: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

In a three-bet pot for 66,000 each, Vasylchenko bet the {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop for 47,100 and earned a call to then bet the {2-Spades} turn for 85,338. Sotiropoulos tank-called and did so again on the {3-Diamonds} river for the last 255,318 when Vasylchenko bet 348,000.

Sotiropoulos tabled {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades} but it was no good as Vasylchenko had the nuts with {a-Spades}{7-Spades}.
