Derwiche Already Out

Blinds 150-300

Ludovic "Gr4vyB04t" Geilich scored a big double through Imad "brucedk" Derwiche and the remaining chips of the French then went in soon after against "Prosperish". Most was in pre and the {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop left Derwiche's {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} in bad shape as "Prosperish" had the {8-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for a made flush.

It was all over after the {3-Diamonds} turn to make the {q-Clubs} river a formality.

Nagy Loses Loads

Upswing vs Nagy
Upswing vs Nagy

Blinds 125-250

In a preflop raising war, Justin "LappyPoker" Lapka had invested 10,250 already only for "Upswing" to then jam for 21,185 in the big blind. Gergo Nagy shipped it in for 25,000 and Lapka timed out to forfeit his investment.

"Upswing": {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{9-Spades}{2-Hearts}
Gergo Nagy: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Spades}

The board ran out {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and "Upswing" doubled.

Ribeiro and Dzivielevski Bust "CHURROS"

Blinds 125-250

A three-way raising war got 14,000 chips to the middle prior to the {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop but the action then slowed down. Ultimately Yuri Dzivielevski folded the {a-Diamonds} turn while "CHURROS" remained involved alongside Tomas Ribeiro.

"CHURROS" bet the {9-Diamonds} river and reluctantly called the shove of Ribeiro with the {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{5-Hearts} for aces full. Ribeiro had {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} for quads to leave his opponent short. One hand later, "CHURROS" was all-in pre with double-suited queens and Dzivielevski turned over aces, which made top set right before the table broke.

Early Big Stacks

Blinds 125-250

The blinds have increased for the second level of the day and the field is up to 101 entries of which 97 players remain.

Kazankov Next to Fall

27OffSuitJam vs Kazankov
27OffSuitJam vs Kazankov

Blinds 100-200

On the heads-up turn of {q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{5-Spades}{a-Diamonds}, the stacks went in between Andrey "Farhills" Kazankov and "27OffSuitJam" with the former at risk.

"27OffSuitJam": {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Andrey "Farhills" Kazankov: {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

Kazankov had the same wrap but an inferior pair to see his stack reduced to dust after the blank {3-Diamonds} river. He was all-in one hand later and Michael "Minthon" Iakovlev flopped the nut straight to reduce the field by one.

Lapka Scores a Knockout

Blinds 100-200

In a min-raised pot to the {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop, Justin "LappyPoker" Lapka check-called a bet for 900 by "1_2_3" and did so again for 2,700 on the {4-Diamonds} turn. The raising war on the {a-Hearts} river saw the chips go in the middle as "1_2_3" tabled {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}{8-Spades}{4-Clubs} for queens full, which Lapka had beat with the {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs} for aces full of fives.

Barer Out and Back in

Barer vs Derwiche
Barer vs Derwiche

Blinds 100-200

Ami Barer limp-called a raise to 431 by Imad "brucedk" Derwiche and another two players came along to the {a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop on which Derwiche bet 1,078. Andras Nemeth called and Ole Schemion folded, Barer raised the pot to 6,457 and Derwiche was the only caller.

The {3-Hearts} fell on the turn and Barer bet 6,789 to then call all-in when Derwiche jammed.

Ami Barer: {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Hearts}
Imad "brucedk" Derwiche: {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}

The {j-Spades} river was a blank and Barer re-entered.
