Cheong Chips Up With Aggression

Level 31 : 1,250,000/2,500,000, 300,000 ante

Joseph Cheong limp-called a raise to 7 million by Paulius Plausinaitis in a battle of the blinds to then bet the {9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{5-Spades} river succesfully. Plausinaitis open-jammed the next small blind and "likeboy" quickly ducked out of the way in the big blind.

Cheong min-raised to 5 million in the first hand of the new level and Joni Jouhkimainen made the call. The {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop was check-called by Jouhkimainen for 3,952,500 and the {9-Clubs} turn was checked by both. On the {j-Spades} river, Jouhkimainen checked once more and Cheong bet 11,175,100 into 20,655,000.

Jouhkimainen gave it some consideration and eventually folded.
