Kourtoumbellides Runs Riot to Take the Lead
Loucas "Rage Monkey1" Kourtoumbellides three-bet the pot to 2.25 million and earned a call from Pulkit Goyal. On the 
flop, Kourtoumbellides bet 1.53 million and that forced a reluctant fold.
Two hands later, Goyal limp-called a pot-sized raise for 750,000 and Kourtoumbellides continued for 780,000 on the 
flop. Goyal made the call and they checked the 
turn. Kourtoumbellides checked the river and let go when Goyal bet for 1,134,800.
The next pot-sized raise on the button by Kourtoumbellides followed right after and Goyal then checked the 
flop, as did Goyal. Goyal check-called a million on the 
turn and the 
river went check, check.
Kourtoumbellides tabled 
for aces and sevens, which won the pot versus 
for jacks and nines.
The following three pots went to Kourtoumbellides without showdown and Goyal stopped his downfall by earning the next two pots.
