Russell Continues to Build Late in the Day

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

A player opened to 2,800 from middle position, Jack Russell called in the hijack and Jamey Kramer called in the cutoff. Loni Harwood three-bet to 15,000 from the button and only Russell called.

The dealer fanned out {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{10-Hearts} on the flop and both players checked to the {7-Clubs} turn card. Russell bet 25,000 and Harwood swiftly called to see the {4-Spades} river card.

Both players checked and Russell turned over {a-Spades}{5-Clubs}, giving him a pair of aces which was good enough as Harwood sent her hand into the muck, shipping the pot to Russell.
