Dollinger Staying Alive

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

John Dollinger was down to nine big blinds not long ago. In a preflop all in holding {k-}{2-} he rivered a deuce to crack ace-king to stay alive at the last possible moment when the board ran out {8-}{3-}{8-}{q-}{2-}.

He has since chipped up considerably and is in healthy position.

Vitantonio Busts McNulty

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

There was a flurry of preflop action happening as Peter Vitantonio raised from early position, Brad Albrinck three-bet to 40,000. John McNulty four-bet jammed his stack. Vitantonio then five-bet came over the top with a jam of his own.

Albrinck went into the tank and looked tortured by the decision before eventually folding.

Vitantonio held {a-}{k-} which was ahead of the {a-}{q-} of McNulty.

The board ran out {6-}{k-Clubs}{4-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs} and McNulty was eliminated.
