Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Serge Dergham
Serge Dergham

Serge Dergham moved all in for 560,000 from the button and Paul Balzano hooked him up from the big blind, putting Dergham at risk of elimination.

Serge Dergham: {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Paul Balzano: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}

The flop came down {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and Dergham needed some help to keep his day going. A {6-Diamonds} turn brought some straight outs but the {k-Clubs} river did not alter a thing as Balzano pulled in the pot, sending Dergham to the payout desk.

John Dwyer Eliminated in 25th Place ($9,405)

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
John Dwyer
John Dwyer

John Dwyer moved all in preflop except for one 5,000 chip that he left behind. Isaan Kempton raised all in to force him to put in the last chip.

Dwyer did not immediately put it in however. He shuffled in his seat and glanced at the clock several times, tanking on a pay bump. After about 30 seconds Kempton called the clock as other players at the table voiced their displeasure with what Dwyer was doing.

Eventually he did plop the 5,000 chip into the middle and the cards were turned over.

John Dwyer {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}
Isaac Kempton {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}

The flop immediately sent Dwyer into dire straights as it came {8-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{k-Spades}. The turn was the {10-Hearts} and the river came the {8-Hearts} to eliminate Dwyer as the first casualty of the day.
