Flush for Meignan

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

Thierry Delpui raised whether there were limpers or not to 1,200 for at least five straight hands including the one that just took place.

Thomas Meignan limped from early position and Delpui raised to 1,200. The action folded back around to Meignan, who made the call.

Meignan check-called a bet of 1,200 after the {q-Spades}{5-Clubs}{a-Clubs} came on the flop. Both players checked after the {2-Clubs} came on the turn. Meignan led out for 4,400 after the {4-Hearts} completed the board on the river and Delpui quickly called.

Meignan turned over {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a flush.

"Oy, yoy, yoy," said Delpui as he mucked his hand.

Meanwhile, Andrew Hills is off to a slow start at the same table and is down to 11,500 in chips.

Hills to Re-enter

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Andrew Hills was short on chips when he bet 3,000 into a pot of around 5,000 with the {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades} on the board. Boubekeur Benhalima jammed for heaps and Hills called off his remaining stack of around 4,000.

Boubekeur Benhalima: {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Andrew Hills: {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

Hills needed a two-outer to save his first bullet with his opponent holding a straight and Hills needing a ten. The {a-Diamonds} completed the board on the river and Benhalima won the hand.

"Nice hand," Hills said to his opponent as he began to leave the table.

Hills shared that he will immediately re-enter the Main Event hoping for better success on his second bullet.

Good River for Zampas

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Azzouz Kais bet 1,200 into a pot of more than 2,000 with the {2-Spades}{3-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} on the flop. Andreas Zampas raised to 4,000 and Kais called.

Kais check-called a bet of 5,000 after the {6-Diamonds} came on the river.

The {q-Spades} completed the board on the river and Kais checked. Zampas tanked for a minute before he checked behind.

Kais turned over {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and was good until the river as Zampas held {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades} to collect the pot at a fortuitous river.

Wheel for Hills

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

It's been a better start Andrew Hills on his second bullet.

In a recent hand, Hills bet 6,800 into a pot of around 11,000 with the {5-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{2-Hearts}{3-Clubs} on the board. A player with the nickname Alexis went into the tank for several minutes before he made the call.

Hills turned over {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for the wheel straight and won the hand after Alexis tossed his hand into the muck.

Also at the same table is Team PMU.fr Pro Sarah Herzali.

Fortuitous River for Bennani

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Cristiano Ferriera Lopes bet 2,500 into a pot of more than 4,000 with the {7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts} on the board. Phillippe Gouhier called before Driss Bennani jammed for 10,600.

Lopes tanked for a couple of minutes before he called and Gouhier quickly folded.

Driss Bennani: {9-Spades}{6-Spades}
Cristiano Ferriera Lopes: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}

Bennani needed a spade to stay alive and to more than double his stack. That is exactly what happened with the {k-Spades} completing the board on the river.
