Ten-Four Good Buddy

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Johan Guilbert jammed from the small blind for about nine big blinds with {10-Clubs}{4-Spades} and was called by Michel Leibgorin in the big blind with {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs}.

Guilbert had live cards but was unable to connect to the {5-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{q-Spades} board and was eliminated.

He wished the entire table "good luck" before he left the tournament area.

Huxley Doubles Daouhadji

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Phillip Huxley
Phillip Huxley

Defending Champ Phillip Huxley chipped up a little to start the day but he just lost half his stack.

A player opened from middle position to 9,000 before Belmehel Dja Daouhadji three-bet to 25,000 from the button. Huxley four-bet to 68,000 from the small blind. The original raiser folded before Daouhadji five-bet jammed to 144,000. Huxley snap-called and players turned over their cards.

Belmehel Dja Daouhadji: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Phillip Huxley: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

Huxley was marginally ahead when the chips went into the middle but his opponent took a big advantage in the hand after pairing the {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop. Neither the {5-Hearts} on the turn nor the {5-Spades} on the river was of any help to Huxley and Daouhadji won a big pot off the defending champion.

Sacrispeyre Cracks Aces

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Patrick Sacrispeyre jammed for 62,000 from early position before Tristan Forge over-jammed for about 85,000 from the cutoff. The remaining players folded and players showed their cards.

Patrick Sacrispeyre: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Tristan Forge: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}

Forge was a big favorite when the chips went into the pot but was drawing to two outs after his opponent hit a full house on the {j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop. Sacrispeyre won the hand and doubled up after the {8-Hearts} came on the turn followed by the {8-Diamonds} on the river.

Huxley Doubles Off Bennani

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Defending champion Phillip Huxley limped from under the gun with {a-}{k-}. A player called before Chakib Bennani raised to 29,000 from the small blind with {10-}{10-}. Huxley jammed for 117,000. The player that call Huxley's original bet folded and Bennani called.

The flop and turn were blanks for Huxley but an {a-} spiked the river to give him a double up.

98 Players Remain

Level 16 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

The blinds have just gone up to 3,000/5,000 with a big blind ante of 5,000. The action is getting closer to the bubble with 98 players remaining and 79 guaranteed at least a min-cash of 28,000 MAD.

Set for Igna Poker

Level 16 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Jerome Rousseau bet 18,000 into a pot of around 40,000 with the {9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{6-Spades} on the board. A Spanish player known as Igna Poker jammed more than enough to cover the 35,000 or so Rousseau still had left behind.

Rousseau went into the tank for a couple of minutes before he made the call. Rousseau then slammed his chips on the table in frustration when he saw Igna Poker held {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} for a set to beat his {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
