Get Ready for Tons of Action in WSOP Super Circuit Online Series Event #16: $840 Bounty Hunters Championship

GGPoker WSOP Super Circuit Online Series
GGPoker WSOP Super Circuit Online Series

The 2021 World Series of Poker Super Circuit Online will award its 16th ring tonight at GGPoker in the WSOPC Event #16: $840 Bounty Hunters Championship.

In addition to the ring, players are also competing for a large chunk of change with at least $1 million guaranteed to be in the prize pool.

The event kicks off at 7:05 p.m. BST (2:05 p.m. EDT) with players starting off with 25,000 in chips worth 125 big blinds during the opening blind level. Players will have plenty of opportunities to build a monster stack with unlimited re-entries permitted during the 195-minute late registration window.

Blinds will increase every 15 minutes for the first dozen blind levels. After that, the pace will speed up with 10-minute blind levels until the final table is reached, at which point GGPoker's final table rules will take over. Blinds will be pushed back at the final table so that the average stack is at least 40 big blinds and blinds will increase a certain number of hands instead of by time.

Expect tons of action in this event as it is a progressive bounty affair. Every player will have a $400 bounty on their head to start. After every elimination, the player that won the hand will have half the bounty go straight into their GGPoker account and the other half will be added to their personal bounty for others to potentially collect.

Bittar Doubles Gabdullin on Set Over Set

Level 3 : 150/300, 45 ante

Damir "Shershnyaga" Gabdullin opened for 575 from under the gun. Diego Bittar jacked it up to 1,650 from the cutoff. Gabdullin four-bet to 4,725 and Bittar called.

Gabdullin bet 4,245 on the {2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} flop and Bittar called. Gabdullin jammed for 16,545 the {a-Clubs} turn and Bittar called that as well.

Damir "Shershnyaga" Gabdullin: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Diego Bittar: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

A bit of a bad cooler for Bittar who flopped top set on the flop to be only drawing to one out after his opponent hit a better set on the turn.

The {k-Spades} river didn't help Bittar and Gabdullin doubled his stack.

Liu Ousts Moorman & Vilchez

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 150 ante

Ivan "Negriin" Vilchez min-raised from the cutoff. Chris Moorman three-bet to 4,400 from the button and was called by Sasha "Poker Sasha" Liu from the small blind.

Vilchez four-bet jammed for 16,893 before Moorman five-bet shoved over the top for 19,268. Liu called them both for a three-way showdown.

Ivan "Negriin" Vilchez: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Chris Moorman: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Sasha "Poker Sasha" Liu: {j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

This might be a don't do this at home moment but Liu's jack-nine got there on the {k-Spades}{5-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{9-Clubs} board to collect two bounties.

Moorman re-entered after the hand while Vilchez didn't hop back into the action at least right away.

Berwick Busts in Huge Cooler
Berwick Busts in Huge Cooler

Rayan "InhalemyQuQ" Chamas raised the cutoff to 252,000, "Skinny Pete" rerasied the button to 720,000, Enrico Camosci shoved more than 6 million from the small blind, and Jeff "DollarVig" Berwick called with less than 3 million from the big blind. The initial two players folded, and it was aces for Camosci against kings for Berwick. There was no change from the board, though it ran out four diamonds, and Chamas showed fives with a diamond which would have taken it against both bigger pairs.

"tiltjam" also lost a race against "davidchien88" on the other table, and it's hand-for-hand to the final table.
