"happyjacks": {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

Martin Busts in Church

Level 29 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Kevin Martin
Kevin Martin

After an early raise, "xuxhcn" shoved for a bit more than 1 million from the cutoff, and Kevin Martin tank-called from the big blind with ace-king, a hand the GGPoker GGSquad member has referred to as "going to church" when he played it. In this case, he was up against pocket nines, and couldn't find any help on a low board. Martin pocketed more than $5,000 for the 32nd place finish.

Grigoletti Coolers Hong

Level 29 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Thiago "grigopoker" Grigoletti limped the small blind, then called when Paul "Rahchan" Hong raised the big blind to 105,000. Grigoletti check-raised the {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}{a-Clubs} flop from 46,491 to 119,088. Hong called to the {q-Clubs} turn where Grigoletti bet 69,539, then called off their stack when Hong shoved with a bit more.

Thiago "grigopoker" Grigoletti: {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Paul "Rahchan" Hong: {5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

Board: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{k-Spades}

They both turned huge, but Grigoletti turned better and took down a huge pot. Hong was left very short, and doubled a couple times, but ultimately busted shortly after.

Eltz Makes Huge River Fold

Claas Segebrecht raised the cutoff to 63,000 and Rafael "geladinhaRLS" Eltz called the big blind. Eltz check-raised the {7-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop from 111,000 to 281,495. Segebrecht called to the {2-Spades} turn. Eltz fired 228,495 but Segebrecht raised it to 456,990. Eltz tank-called, then checked the {5-Spades} river. Segebrecht shoved a covering stack, and after some time in the tank, and a chat request for Segebrecht to show cards, he mucks. Segebrecht only showed {a-Diamonds}.
