Foppen Fobs Away Langrock

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante
Sebastian Langrock
Sebastian Langrock

Sebastian Langrock raised off a short stack and then faced the shove by his table neighbour Willem Foppen, who held the far superior stack. Some consideration by Langrock followed, who then called it off for what appeared to be 28,000.

Sebastian Langrock: {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Willem Foppen: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The {10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop gave Langrock further outs and he improved with the {10-Diamonds} turn. However, it was all for nothing as the {q-Hearts} followed on the river to give Foppen queens full of tens.

Glot Now Has a Lot; Lunario Has Nothing

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

The action started with a button raise by Benyamin Glot to 2,000 and Daniele Lunario then three-bet to 7,600 in the small blind, which Glot opted to call. As they headed to the {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop on which Glot continued for 8,600 and picked up a call by Glot.

The {7-Clubs} turn paired the board and Lunario pushed all-in for the 17,200 he had behind. Some 20 seconds were required by Glot, who then made the call.

Daniele Lunario: {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Benyamin Glot: {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}

Lunario was ahead but vaulted out of his seat to see the {9-Clubs} appear on the river, improving his table neighbour to a straight. "How can you call?" Lunario said on his way out.

Dovzhenko Scores a Knockout

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The cards of Nino Filippello were mucked instantly as his stack was pushed to Alexander Dovzhenko. On a board of {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, the {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} of Dovzhenko had turned a flush and that ended up as the winning hand to send Filippello to the rail.

Ricci Gets Value From Le

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Andrea Ricci
Andrea Ricci

Marek Sulc raised to 2,100 and Van Son Le then three-bet to 6,600 on the button. Andrea Ricci in the big blind four-bet to 16,000 and received two calls, which led to the {10-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop. It got checked through to Le, who bet 13,000 and earned calls from Ricci and Sulc.

Ricci then bet the {7-Clubs} turn for 20,000, forcing a very reluctant fold from Sulc and resulting in the call by Le. Following the {9-Diamonds} river, Ricci bet another 20,000 and Le paid it off to get shown the {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for a flopped full house.

Sulc mentioned in table chat he had folded pocket jacks while Le claimed to have had pocket kings.

Gulas Doubles Through Verenko

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Heads-up to the {q-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}{6-Clubs} turn, Josef Gulas bet 38,000 and Roman Verenko then pushed all-in with the superior stack.

Gulas snap-called for 100,000 with the {4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for the bottom two pair and caught Verenko with a big move, as he had no equity at all holding the {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for jack-high. The meaningless {a-Clubs} river completed the board and Verenko's stack plummeted to fewer than 40 blinds.
