Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Mehmet Altinok
Mehmet Altinok

In three-way three-bet action to the {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-} flop, a continuation bet of 30,500 was called by Ondrej Drozd. Mehmet Altinok then moved all-in with the covering stack to force out the preflop aggressor while Drozd called all-in.

Ondrej Drozd: {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Mehmet Altinok: {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

The {10-Clubs} turn improved Altinok to the nut flush and the {9-Diamonds} river was a blank to crown a new chip leader.

With the {2-Clubs} on the turn, Diac bet 11,000, and Schafer called once again. Diac checked the {q-Spades} river as did Schafer. Diac showed pocket {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades} which was good enough to win the pot.

Do Doubles Through Nanchev

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Aleksandar Nanchev raised to 5,000 and then gave it some thought before calling the shove by Anh Do for 24,700.

Anh Do: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

The dominated pair got there on the {8-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{7-Hearts} board thanks to four hearts, improving Do to a flush and leaving Nanchev with the head shaking.

Covrig Gets Bluffed; Vanishes After

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

In a pot of 35,000 to the {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{7-Spades} turn, Saba Samieian bet 12,000 and Sergiu Covrig called. The {8-Diamonds} river completed the board and Samieian pushed all-in with the superior stack. Covrig pondered about his decision for a while and folded to get shown ace-jack.

That left the Romanian with around 35,000 and he bowed out soon after.

Yazbeck Off to a Good Start

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Mahmoud Yazbeck was one of several dozen players to enter with a fresh stack on Day 2 and he more than doubled up right away. The latest hand saw an open raise by Tobias Matuschek to 5,000 and the three-bet to 20,000 by Bob Bielen in the small blind. Yazbeck then pushed all-in from the big blind and collected the pot once his two opponents got out of the way.

Schneider Felted by Behzad

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Michael Schneider was already all-in on the button and awaiting his fate when the completed board showed {k-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}. Martin Scharfetter bet 20,000 in the small blind and Ali Behzad then pushed all-in with the covering stack.

Scharfetter let go and Behzad tabled the {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for the bottom pair, which won the pot as Schneider had missed the board with his {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}.
