Miller Flops Broadway Straight Versus Gray's Aces

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Gary Miller
Gary Miller

Gary Miller made an early position raise to 200,000 with {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}. Matthew Gray called in the hijack, slow-playing his {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}. All other players folded and action went to the flop.

The flop came {10-Spades}{j-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} to give Miller the broadway straight and leaving Gray in big trouble with his pocket aces. Miller bet 140,000 and Gray flat called.

The turn came the {3-Spades} and Miller bet out 370,000. Gray moved all in for 1,700,000 chips and Miller made the call.

The river was the {8-Diamonds} and Miller took down a huge pot to chip up to over 3 million. Gray was left with a short stack following the confrontation.

Gray Flops Pair To Double Up

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Hong Pham open raised light from early position with {q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. Matthew Gray three-bet to 400,000, which was most of his stack. Steven Warburton isolated with a shove for 3,300,000 holding {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}. Pham folded and Gray called for his remaining few chips.

The board came {q-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts} to give Gray a pair of aces on the flop and a much needed double up. He's back up to 1,600,000 chips and is once again a threat at the final table.
