Keven Desgagne opened to 2,000,000 from under the gun and received a call from Jikai Zhang on the button.

The flop came J♠4♥6♠ and Desgagne shoved for 11,625,000. Zhang, who barely covered Desgagne, made the call.

Jikai Zhang: K♠Q♠

Desgagne was in great shape with an overpair against Zhang's flush draw and remained ahead on the 5♦ turn and 2♦ river to take down the biggest pot of the tournament so far while Zhang was left with just under one small blind.

Jikai Zhang opened to 1,200,000 from middle position before Keven Desgagne moved all in for 13,500,000 f rom the button. Nicholas Haddad called off for his remaining stack of roughly 3,000,000 and Zhang got out of the way leaving Haddad at risk.

Haddad made a small pair on the 8♠5♠3♣ flop but found no further improvement on the K♣ turn or 6♦ river and made his exit from the tournament area while Desgagne took down another healthy pot.

Remy Tetart shoved from under the gun for 4,400,000 and Jikai Zhang called from the big blind to put Tetart at risk.

Both players caught a piece of the J♦4♦4♥ flop but Tetart was ahead with two pair and just needed to fade a flush draw from Zhang. The Q♥ turn and 2♠ river were clean for Tetart who collected a full double up at Zhang's expense.

It was a preflop flip that Nezam caught the better end of on the K♣8♣10♣ flop. The 9♦ turn gave Haddad some outs in the form of a straight draw but the 8♦ river was a brick and Nezam scored yet another full double up, bringing his stack over ten million after starting the day with the shortest stack in the room.

With two players seeing a board of 4♦3♠9♦2♥ and roughly 4,000,000 in the middle, Keven Desgagne bet 2,000,000 from the small blind and was called by Jeffrey Cormier in the big blind.

On the Q♣ river Desgagne moved all in for roughly 5,000,000 sending Cormier deep into the tank.

After several minutes of contemplation Cormier mentioned that he would have called had a queen not come on the river before mucking his hand and Desgagne took down a sizable pot without showdown.
