Pascal Monarque Eliminated in 18th Place ($2,000)

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Pascal Monarque
Pascal Monarque

The action was picked up on the turn looking at a board of 10J62. Monarque lead jammed all in for about 330,000 which was close to pot.

It was then on Ghislain Pigeon who went deep into the tank before finally calling to put Monarque at risk.

Pascal Monarque: Q9 All in
Ghislain Pigeon: KJ

Monarque was looking for a king or an eight to make his straight but the 9 gave him a pair he didn't need and he hit the rail just after the redraw.

Nicolas Majdalani Eliminated in 20th Place ($1,650)

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

After taking significant action, Pascal Monarque found himself facing not one, but two all-ins. He was looking at both Nicolas Majdalani and Ghislain Pigeon who had moved all in and although he covered both, he seemed to be in an absolutely brutal spot. After a few minutes he finally announced he was folding and tabled queens face up.

He seemed to hold his breath for a moment as the other hands were revealed but he was able to take a sigh of relief when he saw he made a great fold.

Nicolas Majdalani: AQ All in
Ghislain Pigeon: KK

The full board ran out 5J343 and Pigeon got the pure knockout when the best hand held.

Francois Barrette Eliminated in 21st ($1,650)

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Francois Barrette opened under the gun and was called on the button by Louis Pierre Daniel Collette. A player in the blinds also came along for the ride and they were off to a flop.

The J45 flop landed and it checked to Barrette who continued before Collette called and the player in the blinds folded.

The 2 rolled off on the turn and Barrette moved all in. Collette snap called and got the bad news...it was a cooler.

Francois Barrette: JJ All in
Louis Pierre Daniel Collette: 22

Collette was on the wrong end of a set over set situation that had him drawing to a single out. The dealer burned, turned, and put out the miracle 2 river to make the table go wild. The cooler flipped to Barrette who sat on the wrong end of an even colder deck.

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Kyle Hucker moved all in off a short stacks and was called by Deven lane. Unfortunately, the K8 of Hucker could not improve against the pocket Jacks of Lane. He hit the rail in 22nd place after an impressive run.
