Ralph Straehl was first to bet from the big blind and tossed out a bet of 3,500. Michael Gehrmann called on the cutoff, and Lowell Kim came along from the button.
All three checked through the J♠ turn and the 3♠ landed on the river. Straehl checked again before Gehrmann fired for 9,000. This was enough to earn Gehrmann the pot as both of his opponents folded.
