With 28,000 in the pot, Faris Kanaan fired out for 9,000 from the small blind on the K♦A♣5♥ flop. Andrei Chiriliuc called from the cutoff.
A 3♣ landed on the turn, and Kanaan placed out a second barrel of 35,000. Again, Chiriliuc called.
Kanaan put Chiriliuc all in for his last 50,000 when the 10♣ arrived on the river. Chiriliuc went deep into the tank, mulling over whether to call for his tournament life or not. In the end, Chiriliuc slammed in the call.
Kannan turned over aces up with A♠5♣, which was good to win the pot and bust Chiriliuc, who showed A♥Q♦ for one pair.
