Level 30
: Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Neculai Macovei raised to 600,000 in the cutoff with A♠2♠ and Florian Geiger defended A♦3♥ in the big blind.
Check, check followed the 8♥9♦Q♠ flop to see the A♣ arrive on the turn. Geiger checked for a second time, and Macovei bet 700,000. Geiger went for the most aggressive option available to him, check-raising to 1,700,000.
Macovei mulled it over briefly, then three-bet ripped it for 3,700,000. The jam sent Geiger deep into the tank, and after thinking about it for a while, he elected to fold.
