Angelo Arossi Eliminated in 3rd Place (CHF84,500)

[Removed:663] raised the button to 750,000 and Angelo Arossi jammed from the small blind for 2,900,000. Hammann quickly called.

Angelo Arossi: A♦10♦ All in
[Removed:663]: A♥4♥

Arossi had less than ten big blinds and just needed to fade an unfortunate runout to double up and be right back in the mix.

Hammann found a favorable flop in the form of 8♥5♥3♠, picking up straight and flush possibilities.

Hammann hit a pair of fours on the 4♣ turn, and improved further to the ace-high flush when the 9♥ completed the board.

Arossi started the day as chip leader, but had to settle for a third-place finish. The Main Event was now down to heads-up.
