Lietchi was ahead with pocket kings against the top pair of Muehlebach.
Lietchi couldn't watch as he walked away from the table just as the dealer rolled off the 7♣ on the turn. The A♣ came on the river, and Liechti avoided the bad beat.
Muehlebach dropped to below half a milly, and Liechti was up to over 500,000.

The dealer produced a runout of 6♥A♣5♦7♣6♣ to give Covaciu the best hand with a pair of aces. Cook was left with just a few big blinds and was eliminated shortly after.

Rank left Reissnecker drawing dead when he completed his flush on the A♦ turn. An inconsequential 5♣ completed the runout, and Reissnecker was the newest casualty of the Main Event.
