Samuel Klocker raised to 205,000 from the small blind and Angelo Arossi defended from the big blind.

Klocker continued with a bet of around 125,000 upon seeing the A♠8♦8♠ flop. Again, Arossi called.

The Q♥ rolled off on the turn, causing Klocker to fire a second barrel of 375,000. Arossi shoved for Klocker's remaining 1,000,000, resulting in a snap-fold on Klocker.

Lukas Schlumpf got his final 595,000 into the middle from under the gun and Marcel Maubach was the player trying to end his day early.

Schlumpf picked up a straight draw on the J♣Q♠3♥ flop, but improved to a pair on the 10♣ turn to take the lead.

Maubach missed his outs when the Q♥ arrived on the river, and he had to send almost half his stack over to Schlumpf.

Manuel Lussi Eliminated in 14th Place (CHF8,500)

Manuel Lussi raised to 120,000 under the gun before Angelo Arossi three-bet the button to 420,000. Once the blinds folded, Lussi paused briefly before four-bet jamming for 1,600,000. Arossi snap-called.

It was a brutal cooler for Lussi, who held big slick against the cowboys of Arossi.

Arossi and Lussi were both out of their seats as the dealer spread the 8♥8♣5♥ flop, which was no help to Lussi.

A 3♠ on the turn meant only a river ace could save Lussi from the rail.

The 7♥ completed the board and Lussi exited the Main Event in 14th position, while Arossi's stack soared to over six million.

Maubach Flops the World to Double

When it folded to Angelo Arossi in the small blind, he jammed, putting Marcel Maubach all in in the big blind. Maubach looked at his cards and then called for his last 625,000.

Both players had a weak ace and a chop looked likely, but the 8♣5♥Q♣ flop catapulted Maubach into the lead with bottom pair and the flush draw.

The Q♠ turn nd 7♠ river were safe for Maubach, and he doubled up to over a million.

Macovei Takes From Wintersberger

Neculai Macovei raised under the gun to 100,000 and David Wintersberger three-bet to 300,000 out of the cutoff. Macovei called to see the flop fall 5♣7♦8♠.

Macovei knuckled the action over to Wintersberger, who bet 250,000. Macovei continued with a call.

The 8♥ rolled off on the turn, prompting a second check from Macovei. Winsterberger fired another barrel, choosing the amount of 650,000. Macovei slid a tower of purple T-100,000 chips into the middle, putting Winsterberger all in.

Wintersberger quickly folded with 1,400,000 left in his stack, and Macovei dragged in the pot,
