Davidi Kitai and Natasha Mercier Among Final 11 of WSOP Circuit Paris Main Event

It's time to crown a new champion at Partouche Pasino Club in the €1,500 Main Event of the World Series of Poker Circuit Paris.

Out of the 1,282 entries, which generated a total prize pool of €1,661,472, only 11 players are still in contention, hoping to win a WSOP gold ring.

This would be a first for Belgian legend Davidi Kitai, who has won almost every trophy possible in his career except for a WSOP Circuit title. He'll start this final day third in chips with 6,525,000, almost half as many as the chip leader Luca Bernardi, who'll return with 12,350,000.

Mathieu Selides also built a big stack on Day 2 with 11,775,000 and could win his second WSOP Circuit Main Event here, exactly ten years after his success in Marrakech.

Pierre Chevalier (6,350,000) and Hervé Gouzil (5,800,000) bagged around the average stack last night, followed by Natasha Mercier, who had to battle until the very last hand of Day 2 to finish with 5,750,000.

Alberto Ah Line (5,225,000), Valentin Blot and Ankit Ahuja (2,775,000) are also strong contenders for the trophy with stacks between 20 and 40 big blinds, while the two short stacks, Tristan Clemencon (2,025,000) and Maxime Doki-Thonon (1,450,000), will need an early double-up to get back in the race.

Play resumes at 1 p.m. local time at Level 28, featuring blinds of 100,000/150,000 with a 150,000 big blind ante. The 11 remaining players have secured a minimum prize of €15,786, but only one of them will take the first-place prize of €260,000 and the WSOP Circuit gold ring home tonight.

This final day will be streamed on PMU PLAY, with a 30-minute delay.
