Meanwhile, Stephane Knafo wasn't as fortunate and was eliminated.
Stephane Benarroche in middle position jammed for 60,000. Julian van den Heuvel in the big blind looked at his cards and called.

Stephane Gabarre opened to 12,000 from under the gun. Hugo Ouazana in the cutoff called but Cedric Barros Pinto on the button raised to 30,000. Gabarre folded and Barros Pinto made the call.
Barros Pinto continued for 22,000 on the 9♥6♦5♠ flop. Ouazana check-called and led out for 50,000 on the 7♥ turn.
Barros Pinto folded and asked if Ouazana had "a pair of eights". Ouazana said that he will answer later.

Antony Saadoun opened to 8,000 from under the gun and was called by Ankit Ahuja in middle position and by the big blind.
The dealer fanned a flop of J♥J♣J♠ and after two checks, Ahuja bet 11,000. The big blind folded but Saadoun called.
Ahuja fired a second barrel to 26,000 on the 8♥ turn. Saadoun check-called and checked the 8♠ river.
Ahuja moved all-in to apply pressure on Saadoun who snap-called off his last 66,000 with K♠K♣ for a full house. "I almost checked back," Ahuja said with 10♦10♠.
