After losing a 26,000-chip pot to Thierry Dinael, Kevin Abecassis opened from the cutoff and was called by Selim Dris and Dinael, both in the blinds.
Abecassis continued for 900 on the Q♦8♣K♦ flop. Dris and Dinael quickly check-called, and checked the K♣ turn. Abecassis checked back.
All three players checked again the 7♠ river, so Dris revealed Q♣9♣. Dinael mucked his cards but Abecassis showed Q♥9♥ to split the pot.

In what appears to be a four-bet pot, Rony El Zoghby under the gun bet 5,000 on a flop of 6♦Q♣10♦. Gary Mamou to his left called.
The 4♣ turn was checked by both players, then El Zoghby bet 5,000 more on the J♣ river.
Mamou quickly called but ran into El Zoghby's rivered straight with A♠K♦. When he discovered his opponents' hand, Mamou showed his K♠K♥.

Lucien Cohen opened to 600 from the cutoff. Mathieu Bonnet on the button called, as well as Rony Orenstein in the big blind.
All three players checked a flop of 6♥5♥10♥ leading to the 3♣ turn. Cohen bet 600, Bonnet folded and Orenstein check-called.
The J♠ didn't bring more action so Orenstein flipped over K♣7♥. Cohen showed a pair with 6♠4♥ and won the pot.

Three-way on a flop of 7♥3♣5♠ with already 6,200 in the pot, Wassim Chaitou in the big blind bet 2,500. Mathieu Bellemere in the cutoff folded but Johann Greboval in the small blind check-called.
Chaitou fired a second barrel to 7,000 on the A♥ turn. Greboval check-called, but check-folded to a third barrel to 15,000 on the J♠ river.

Two years after the last edition in Paris, the World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOP-C) is back in the French capital at a brand-new venue. Opened exactly four months ago, the Partouche Pasino Club has become the biggest poker place in Paris and will host with Texapoker and PMU PLAY the event until September 14th, with a total of 12 rings in play.
Some of them have already been won since September 1st, starting with Emmanuel Barre, who took down the €500 WSOP-C Mini Main Event from a massive field of 1,118 entries for €76,000. Juliane Papazian won the €550 WSOP-C Senior Event (€28,000), followed by Omar Lakhari who added another success to his résumé by winning the €500 WSOP-C Mystery Bounty for a total of €119,340.
Last but not least, in the last few hours, three more rings were won by Margaux Ponnelle in the €300 WSOP-C Ladies (€7,350), Kamel Atoui in the €500 WSOP-C Omaha (€25,500) and David Guetta in the €750 WSOP-C KO (20,300).
With events like the €2,500 WSOP-C High Roller and the €300 WSOP-C Colossus continuing this Thursday, September 10, all eyes will now be on the €1,500 WSOP-C Main Event, which already started last Sunday with Day 1a. 172 entries were recorded in this first flight, with only 26 players advancing to next Sunday's Day 2.
Parisian player Alain Daien bagged the chip lead with 950,000, ahead of Roy Samama (734,000) and Eric Sfez (688,000). Yohan Bergeot (487,000) and Ekrem Sanioglu (390,000) also finished the day with big stacks, while Adrien Amorella (232,000), Mathieu Selides (157,000), Karim Lehoussine (139,000), Matthieu Rigolot (132,000) and Samuel Bifarella (90,000) also qualified, but with shorter stacks.

The Main Event resumes this Thursday at 1 p.m. local time with Day 1b, which will follow the same structure as the first flight, with a 50,000 starting stack and 40-minute levels.
Late registration closes at the end of Level 12 (approximately 11 p.m.), with one reentry allowed for the first flight. If players plays additional flights, they will only be allowed to fire a single bullet in the subsequent ones. Play in each flight ends once the bubble bursts, when 15% of the field remains.
