Chipleader Sofian Benaissa (248,300) will be looking to accumulate chips early on Day 2

The 169 players remaining in the 2016 WSOP International Circuit Marrakech Main Event will take to their seats later in order to win themselves a coveted WSOP gold ring and a place, as well as a ticket to the 2016 WSOP Circuit Global Championship, an invitation-only tournament with a minimum prize pool of $1,000,000 USD.

After Day 1a and Day 1b the players will join together at 14.00 p.m. local time, with Day 1a chipleader Sofian Benaissa returning with 248,300 with blinds at 800/1600/200. Alongside him will be Day 1b chipleader and French favourite Guillaume Darcourt (214,400) as well as leading Moroccan Najib Bennis (142,200).

Also returning after a day off probably spent by the pool is ex-Premier League footballer [Removed:30] (166,000), 2014 November Niner Pierre Neuville (101,400) and legendary British pro Barny Boatman (91,400).

After the first three levels of today, the levels increase in length from 45 minutes to one hour, thereby giving the smaller stacks much more play time. The prizepool will also be announced today, letting players know how many places will be paid, and letting them know what the all important first prize money is!

Auoir Busts Jonin and Cripples Jonin with Aces

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Djamel Auoir opened from early position to 4,600 with the blinds at 800/1,600. The player to his left, Christophe Jonin then moved all in for his remaining 40,000 chips. Players are making moves early on Day 2 with the average soaring to just under 90,000.

Hakim Doumou, on the button, thought for a while checking how much each player was in for before just calling Jonin's bet. It folded round to Auoir the original raiser who then moved all in and Doumou made the move

Auoir: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}
Jonin: {Q-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Doumou: {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}

Doumou needed help, while Jonin was in dire straights needing to catch miracle cards to survive. Neither player did as the board ran out {2-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} boosting Auoir's stack, eliminating Jonin and crippling Doumou
