Day 1a Started
The time has come for the highlight of the World Series of Poker Circuit festival at the King's Casino in Rozvadov. In one hour from now at 14:00 local time, Day 1a of the €1,650 Main Event gets underway and the tournament comes with a staggering guarantee of €1,000,000. Plenty of amateurs and pros alike will be taking part in the hopes of becoming the latest winner of a coveted WSOP circuit ring.
Yesterday's €300 Freezeout Satellite saw 322 entrants to generate 50 entries for today's first starting day as well as €1,176 for the 51st-place finisher. A €150 single reentry Satellite is currently running and already generated more than 110 entries early on as well, so expect quite a big field for Day 1a.
According to the structure, both day 1s feature 12 levels of 45 minutes each before the level duration increases to one hour for Day 2 and the final day. The PokerNews team will be there to provide updates until the winner is crowned on Monday and there will also be a feature table every day with hole cards on a delay of 30 minutes.

The tournament director just asked dealers to shuffle up and deal if their tables have at least 3 players. Many players are now still heading to their seats with blinds in this deep-stacked event starting at 25/50 and players starting with 30,000 chips.
The major tournament highlights at the King's Casino typically don't start early on, especially not at 14:00, and thus it comes as no surprise that the screens don't show three digits yet. However, at least 92 entries upon start are very promising and this number will surely grow significantly with plenty of players roaming around the bar.
EPT regular Ronny Voth is among the players to take their seat early on and same applied for Alexander Rettenbacher and Aleksei Ivanov. The latter came second here in the King's Casino in the Deep Stack Open Main Event in April 2015.
Majid Ejlal Boubarian and Thomas Butzhammer are sitting next to each other over on table 83 to round up the early notables in the field.

A player limped in under the gun and Marcin Wydrowski then raised to 275, picking up one caller in the limper. The flop came and the limper check-called a bet of 300 before both players checked down the on the turn and the on the river.
The limper showed and Wydrowski mucked.

Sebastian Langrock may not be known to many of the international poker players yet but the German came to fame in the TV show "Who wants to be a Millionaire," taking down the full payday. Langrock already had a passion for poker back then and the new bankroll allowed him to play more tournaments, which frequently led him to the King's Casino.

Level one is about to be over and the screens have been updated, showing at least 145 entrants for the first starting day. A single reentry is allowed per day and this may bump up the field further.
