"Win One, Lose One"

Level 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

In a preflop all in, Atik Miah had Alexandar Denishev at risk for his last 82,000 and it was a flip with {A-Hearts}{K-Spades} versus {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}. Miah had won the previous flip for his tournament life, this time the Bulgarian took it down. The board ran out {8-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} and Denishev made sure to win it by making quads on the river.

Miah was still all smiles though. "Win one, lose one," he said.

Meciar's Hero Call at the Wrong Time

Level 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

In a pot of what looked like 80,000 to the {6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{5-Hearts} turn, Johnny Hansen moved all in for 104,500 and Martin Meciar gave it a lot of thought. Eventually he called and tabled the {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts} whereas Hansen turned over {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}. The {K-Diamonds} river gave Hansen a full house and he said to his opponent "you don't believe me."

Polasek Scores Lucky Double

Level 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Zeus-Jan Post three-bet from the small blind and initial raiser Filip Polásek called to see the flop of {5-Spades}{2-Hearts}{4-Spades}. Post checked and Polásek moved all in for 83,000 to receive a call from his opponent, flipping over {K-Spades}{J-Spades} for a flush draw.

Post was way ahead with the {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} and the {5-Hearts} turn was a blank. The {J-Hearts} river though gave Polásek the better hand and he doubled.

At the same table is also Pavol Beca, who more than doubled up his stack from the start. Amir Mozaffarian is up even more and Sasa Lalos also well above average.

Level 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Mikkel Plum
Mikkel Plum

Denmark's Mikkel Plum has been on a decent run in big tournaments lately. First in late September, he took second place in the WPT National Austria Main Event for €38,650. Less than a month later, Plum grabbed third place in the World Series of Poker Europe Event #3 - Pot Limit Omaha Eight-Handed Event for €55,755 . He won't be able to add a first place to his impressive streak - or even a cash - as he is one of the more recent players to exit the tournament.

The tournament is now 19 players away from the money with 99 entrants remaining and 80 players walking away with at least the posted minimum cash of €2,545.
