Only nine players out of a field of 912 entries remain in the 2021 WSOP International Circuit €1,700 Main Event at the King's Resort in Rozvadov. Five different countries will be represented on the final table with Germany boasting four contenders and Italy having two hopefuls in the running for the biggest slice of the €1,342,920 prize pool.

Andrea Ricci returns to the final day as the chip leader with 63 big blinds and he another four players are then separated by four big blinds only including Sami Karli, Aliaksandr Shylko, and Simone Lombardo. Two years ago, Shylko finished fourth out of 768 entries in this very event in Europe's biggest poker arena for a career-high score of €78,850.

Also in the mix is the 2019 EPT Sochi Main Event winner Uri Gilboa, who will be the shortest stack among the finalists with just nine blinds. All nine contenders today and tenth-place finisher Mihai Stinca have earned another prize on top of their cash winnings as they all receive an entry to the 2021 WSOP Europe Main Event worth €10,300 each.

Sami Karli
Sami Karli

Sami Karli raised to 325,000 in the cutoff with the {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Andrea Ricci called in the big blind with {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. The {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop was checked by both and Ricci then bet the {q-Spades} turn for 500,000. Karli stared at the board and announced all-in to get snap-called by Ricci within fewer than one second.

Karli still had outs with trips nines but the {6-Hearts} river was a blank. And just like that, Karli as the second in chips departed in 9th place for €19,459.

Andrea Ricci raised to 430,000 with the {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} in the cutoff and "Mr. Bond" three-bet to 1.2 million in the small blind with the {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}. Ricci gave it some thought and called, which created a pot of 3.2 million to the {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop. "Mr. Bond" continued for 600,000 with 2 million behind and Ricci called.

The {3-Spades} fell on the turn and "Mr. Bond" jammed. "Aces?" Ricci called and asked for a count but called a few seconds later anyways.

"Mr. Bond" only had one out and bricked on the {4-Clubs} river to end up in 7th place for €35,943.

"Thank you again", table short stack Uri Gilboa said.

Aliaksandr Shylko Eliminated in 4th Place (€79,943)

Level 32 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Aliaksandr Shylko
Aliaksandr Shylko

Andrea Ricci limped the small blind with the {j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and Aliaksandr Shylko raised to 900,000 with {10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}, which Ricci called. They headed to the {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop on which Ricci checked. Shylko made it 500,000 to go and his opponent stuck around.

The {2-Clubs} appeared on the turn and Ricci checked rather quickly. Shylko opted for a bet of 1.3 million and Ricci pondered about his decision before making the call. With 5.7 million in the middle and 4.5 million behind for Shylko, they headed to the {8-Diamonds} on the river.

Ricci checked the third street in a row and Shylko then emptied the clip by moving all-in.

"Count please," Ricci immediately demanded and gave it some 30 seconds before making the call. When Shylko tabled his failed bluff, the Italian already started cheering and both players bumped fists. Once Ricci's pair of nines was exposed, the applause of the Italian rail grew even louder.

Shylko's run ends in 4th place once more and he earns €79,943 for the efforts.

Vincent De Neve
Vincent De Neve

In the second hand after the break, Simone Lombardo raised to 500,000 on the button and Vincent De Neve three-bet jammed for 7.3 million in the big blind. Lombardo instantly said "I call" and had De Neve utterly crushed.

Vicent De Neve: {k-Hearts}{5-Spades}
Simone Lombardo: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

The {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop and {3-Hearts} turn left De Neve with three outs and he missed them with the {q-Clubs} river. De Neve had to settle for third place and €104,359 along with the ticket for the 2021 WSOP Europe €10,300 Main Event.

The two Italian finalists are now on a break of approximately 15 minutes.

Ricci Doubles Through Lombardo

Level 33 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Andrea Ricci
Andrea Ricci

Andrea Ricci opened top 800,000 and Simone Lombardo called. On a flop of {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, Lombardo check-raised from 1.2 million to 4.3 million for Ricci to call. As they headed to the {k-Clubs} turn, Lombardo checked once more and Ricci bet 5 million with 6.4 million behind.

Lombardo asked for his stack size and then pushed all-in, Ricci called it off after a short spell in the tank.

Andrea Ricci: {q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Simone Lombardo: {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

Lombardo had plenty of outs but missed them all on the {10-Spades} river for Ricci to take over the lead.

Simone Lombardo Eliminated in 2nd Place (€146,004)

Level 35 : 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante
Simone Lombardo
Simone Lombardo

Simone Lombardo raised to 1.2 million and Andrea Ricci three-bet to 4 million with 16 million behind. Lombardo carefully counted his remaining stack and then moved all-in for Ricci to call with the inferior stack size.

Andrea Ricci: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Simone Lombardo: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}

It seemed all but over on the {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop as Ricci needed running cards to a straight or flush. He got one of them on the {3-Diamonds} turn and the rail shouted for the four of diamonds. Sure enough, the {4-Diamonds} fell on the river and Ricci's rail exploded. Both Italian contenders hugged while the chips were counted and Lombardo was left with around 5 million.

Lombardo was still all smiles when he sat back down and Ricci then jammed the button, Lombardo called it off.

Simone Lombardo: {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Andrea Ricci: {j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

The {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} flop gave Lombardo the nut straight and gutshot straight flush draw. Suddenly, Ricci picked up outs on the {6-Hearts} turn and the magical {j-Spades} river completed a miracle runout to eliminate Lombardo in back-to-back hands. He takes home €146,004 while Ricci has earned the WSOP Circuit gold ring and top prize of €236,489.
