Overgaard Eliminated by Ashelm

Level 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Robert Ashelm
Robert Ashelm

Tim Overgaard raised to 6,000 and Robert Ashelm then three-bet to 18,000 in the cutoff. Overgaard jammed for what appeared to be 105,000 and Ashelm made the call.

Tim Overgaard: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Robert Ashelm: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

Thanks to the {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{6-Spades} board, Ashelm improved to a pair of kings and sent Overgaard to the rail.

Sabbatino Doubles Through Levi

Level 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Pascal Vos had spun up his re-entry to more than three times the starting stack while Saverio Sabbatino saw his stack dwindle.

The Italian then three-bet jammed with the {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}. Shahar Levi called with {7-Spades}{7-Hearts} and spiked the {7-Diamonds} in the window. However, it was followed by the {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts} for both players to hit a set. Nothing changed with the {a-Diamonds} turn and the river was a blank, too.

Frey Goes Runner-Runner to Bust Margarita

Level 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Andres Frey called the shove by Gennaro Margarita for 26,500 and it was a flip. Margarita had the {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} while Frey held {k-Spades}{q-Hearts} for the overcards. Margarita hit a set on {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and Frey already sighed, barely noticed the {6-Hearts} turn and {9-Hearts} river.

"It's always the same", Frey complained before the dealer told him he actually won the hand. Frey took off his sunglasses and then noticed the flush.

Jelinek Jams Into Mishuk

Level 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

On the river of a board {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{9-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}, Alexey Mishuk had checked and the pot was already around 165,000. Vaclav Jelinek moved all-in for 77,500 and Mishuk was sent into the tank.

Eventually, the clock was called on him and Mishuk was given 30 seconds to act. No action followed and Mishuk's hand was dead. Jelinek flashed the {4-Spades} but then also exposed the {a-Clubs} a few seconds later.

"Write this down. They need to raise the buy-in because the players are gambling unreasonably," Martin Kabrhel remarked.

Paus Chips Up Without Showdown

Level 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

In a battle between two players in late position, [Removed:428] checked the {j-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Spades}{8-Diamonds} turn and then called a bet worth 16,500 by Dominik Paus. The {q-Clubs} river completed the board and Maloku checked again. Paus now bet 44,000 and his opponent tank-folded, revealing the {q-Spades}.

Angelini Busts Novotny to Rise Further

Level 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Nicola Angelini
Nicola Angelini

The flop showed {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and David Novotny pushed for 37,500 in the big blind. Nicola Angelini called in the cutoff and Leonardo Armino folded on the button.

David Novotny: {10-Spades}{4-Spades}
Nicola Angelini: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

Neither the {8-Hearts} turn nor the {a-Hearts} river brought a spade and Novotny was sent to the rail.

"I had ace-nine," Armino mentioned in table chat. Angelini appears to be near the top of the leaderboard.
