Ricci Beats Achegsei in Showdown

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Aliaksandr Shylko limped the {a-Spades}{3-Spades} and Andrea Ricci raised to 300,000 with the {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} to get called by Ahmad Achegsei with the {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}.

They checked all the way to the {q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} river on which Ricci bet 300,000 and earned a call. Achegsei was clearly frustrated when he mucked the inferior pocket pair.

Lull on the Outer Table

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Day 3 will conclude when nine players remain or level 28 has been completed, whichever of the two comes first. On the outer table, the action has been rather dull as short stack jams or continuation bets did the trick to end the hands.

One for Dearing; One for Proca

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Petri Proca raised to 160,000 and was called by Timothy Dearing on the button and Uri Gilboa on the big blind. The flop came {j-Spades}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts} and the action checked to Dearing, who bet 250,000 and earned two folds.

Up next, "Mr. Bond" raised to 160,000 and Proca simply jammed for 2.6 million to force a reluctant fold from "Mr. Bond".

Shylko Chips Up Against Tounnouti

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Aliaksandr Shylko limp-called a raise by Mourad Tounnouti with {k-Spades}{q-Spades} while his opponent had the {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. The flop fell {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and Tounnouti bet 225,000, picking up a check-call call from Shylko. The {8-Clubs} turn went check, check, and Shylko bet 500,000 on the {k-Diamonds} river for Tounnouti to fold.

On the {q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop, Ricci check-called for 250,000 and checked again the {4-Spades} turn. Achegsei bet another 525,000 and Ricci tank-folded his open-ender.

Rozenbaum Doubles Through De Neve

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Over on the outer table, Vincent De Neve raised to 200,000 and Shay Rozenbaum then three-bet to 800,000 with 45,000 behind. De Neve was pained and eventually moved in, Rozenbaum called.

Shay Rozenbaum: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Vincent De Neve: {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

The {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop gave Rozenbaum the top two pair while De Neve had a flush draw. It bricked on the {10-Diamonds} turn and {6-Diamonds} river to keep Rozenbaum in contention.

Alexey Mishuk
Alexey Mishuk

Mihai Stinca raised to 225,000 with the {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} and Nawroz Gaff called in the hijack with the {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}. Alexey Mishuk then jammed for 2.9 million in the big blind with {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Stinca snap-called, Gaff folded.

The {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} board left Mishuk with no more chips and he departed in 16th place for €10,647.
