Bise Dashes Out Two Doubles

Level 19 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Jan Joergensen got it in for 304,000 before the flop and was looked up by Emil Bise on the button as the chips went in via four-bet shove.

Jan Joergensen: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Emil Bise: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

The {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}{4-Clubs} board kept Joergensen in contention.

Shortly after, Bise raised and called the shove by Silma Macalou for 69,000.

Macalou's {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} prevailed versus {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} on the {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{j-Spades} runout.

Kohlstetter Busts Ntoumos

Level 19 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Down to around 135,000, Vasilios Ntoumos got it in with the {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} and Stephan Kohlstetter had the inferior {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}.

However, the {k-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{7-Spades}{9-Clubs} runout improved Kohlstetter a nine-high straight and Ntoumos became the next early casualty on Day 3. Sandro Pitzanti followed moments later as the field dropped below 70 hopefuls.

Armando D'Avanzo
Armando D'Avanzo

Armando D'Avanzo was all smiles when he raked in the pot after sending Vincent Lamy to the rail. The latter had three-bet to 208,000 with 20,000 behind and D'Avanzo then jammed. Lamy eventually called it off and both players tabled premium pockets.

Vincent Lamy: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Armando D'Avanzo: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

The dominated pair found no help on the {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades} board and Lamy departed in 71st place.

"Fourth time aces," the Italian said and someone asked if that was just for today. "No no, total," D'Avanzo replied.
