Andrea Ricci defended the big blind against a button raise by Ahmad Achegsei with the and check-called a bet on the flop when Achegsei fired with the . On the turn, Ricci check-called for another 650,000 and they checked down the on the river.
Ricci claimed the lead but then check-folded the next bigger pot on the river with for a flush. Achegsei showed him the bluff with after he had fired a bet worth 800,000.

On the turn, Achegsei fired another 900,000 to earn a call and that created a pot of 3.3 million to the river. Achegsei then fired 1.4 million and Ricci was sent into the think tank.
The Italian eventually called and dragged in the big pot. One player at the table then said "crazy guys", presumably Achegsei who just fired three barrels.

Ricci gave it some show and folded, Stinca jammed for 4.1 million total and Karli studied his table neighbour and tried to engage in table chat. "Will you show?"
Stinca replied "I don't speak" and Karli then replied "so start speaking" before making the very reluctant call for the 2.4 million he had behind.

"He didn't raise with ace-king twice," Karli explained numerous times to his rail in German. "That's what happens when you limp," Karli added while the stacks were counted.
Over on the outer table, Uri Gilboa raised the button and snap-called the shove by Petru Proca in the big blind.

The flop all but sealed the fate of Proca and he was gone on the turn, making the river a formality. They counted the chips and Proca was all-in for 1,030,000, which Gilboa had covered by a fraction of a big blind.
Gilboa celebrated as he not only scored the knockout but also burst the bubble for the 2021 WSOP Europe €10,300 Main Event tickets for the top 10.
In a battle of the blinds, Aliaksandr Shylko with the took a stab at winning the pot when leading the turn for 500,000. Andrea Ricci called with the for bottom pair and a gutshot. The river was checked through and Ricci claimed the pot.
The clock has been stopped with fewer than ten minutes remaining and the last ten players will complete another three hands before bagging and tagging for the night.
