With the new reality in poker and the world as a whole, the World Series of Poker Circuit has moved to the online felt. In partnership with GGPoker, the month of May features 18 ring events in the 2020 GGPoker WSOP Online Super Circuit.

Day 1 of Event #5: BIG $500 $2M Gtd is already in the books, and they crushed the $2 million guarantee. When the dust settled on Day 1, 7,018 entries swelled the total prized to $3,333,550, and put $475,951.12 up top for the winner.

The first day was a battle, and they whittled the field down to less than 900 before the end of the day. When the clock paused at the end of the day, there were still 864 players with virtual chips, but registration was still open. When the clock started on Day 2, the total field topped out at 7,295 with a total of $3,465,125 in the prize pool and the top prize was juiced to $491,988.

Action on Day 2 starts with blinds at 5,000/10,000/1,000 and will continue until a winner is decided. Coming into the final day, "ElCabanero" from Hungary leads the way with almost 1.5 million chips, and there are nine players total with more than a million in chips. Among those million chip stacks is Lester "mon$terDad" Edoc sitting seventh in chips with 1,055,334. Among the other names still in action are Fedor Holz, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Henri Buehler, Sergey Rybachenko, and Mikhail Semin.
