Ferguson's Freeroll Quest

Chris "Jesus" Ferguson was just discussing his quest to go from $0 to $10,000 via freerolls and small-stakes games using proper bankroll management on Full Tilt Poker, with Ted Forrest and other players at their table. According to Chris, he's currently up to $660 and can now play at the $0.50/$1.00 tables.

When asked about his success with the freeroll tournaments on FTP, Chris said, "In the last nine months, I've made $22." Another player inquired, "Have you been playing well?" Chris replied, "I've been playing my heart out."

Clonie Kisses Some Chips Goodbye -- Literally

In a three-way pot with Doyle Brunson and an unknown player we'll call "seat 2," Clonie called a 150-chip bet from Doyle on a board reading {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}; seat 2 called as well.

The turn brought the {2-Hearts} -- Doyle and Clonie checked, seat 2 bet 300, Doyle folded and Clonie called. Heads-up on the river, Clonie checked to seat 2, who bet 300 on the {9-Clubs}. Making the call, Clonie literally kissed her chips before tossing them into the pot.

Seat 2 turned over the {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}, and Clonie gasped, tossing her cards into the muck, claiming to have had seat 2 beat.

Seat 2 asked, "Really?" Clonie replied, "Of course I did.... until the nine came."

Benyamine Wants Chiu's Money

David Chiu is currently playing both the $5,000 Limit Championship and the $2,500 H.O.R.S.E. event at the same time, so he has to divide his time between the two tournaments.

As a result, David Benyamine was overheard saying, "I want your free money."

Other players trying to tackle both events at the same time are Darrell "Gigabet" Dicken and Daniel Negreanu. At last count, Daniel's stack in the $5,000 Limit tournament has been blinded down to 7150.

"Go Back to Sleep"

After playing very few hands throughout the tournament, a very tight, unknown player rakes in a huge pot with {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts} on a board reading {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{5-Spades}{J-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}.

At the end of the hand, Gavin smith quipped "Okay, you can go back to sleep now, we'll see you in another hour."

'84 a Good Year for Sebok

Joe Sebok opened from middle position, and got called by Greg Mueller. Danny Alaei re-raised, and both players called to see the flop. The flop came {K-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {6-Clubs}. Sebok led at the pot, and both players called. The turn was the {A-Clubs}, Sebok bet out, Mueller called, and Alaei again raised. Both players called to see the river, which was the {Q-Clubs}. Sebok again led out, Mueller folded, and Alaei made the call. Joe turned over {8-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for the flush, and Alaei mucked. The hand got Joe to 13,700, and he raked his chips with a wry smile.
