Mike Sexton Wins a Big Pot From Antonio Esfandiari

With about 2,400 in the pot, Mike Sexton and Antonio Esfandiari saw an ominous {10-Diamonds}

flop. Antonio bet 4,500 and Sexton though a good long time before announcing, "All in".

Esfandiari folded {9-Clubs}

face up, surrendering his straight. Sexton coolly slipped his cards into the muck and raked in a pot that pushed his stack to 18K. Esfandiari now has 14,000.

After a K-J-7 flop Andrew Black led out for 700 and Alex Jacob called. Black checked the 8 on the turn and when Jacobs bet 2000, Black moved all-in. Jacobs called with 9-10 for the straight, while Black had flopped a set of sevens. The board didn't pair on the river and Black was eliminated.

fell on the turn and this time his opponent put Jones to the test by moving in the rest of his stack. Jones thought a long time before calling with pocket Queens, and found to his relief that his opponent had pocket Jacks--and he didn't have the Jack of clubs. Jones is now at 44,000.
