In the final seconds of the Cavs-Spurs game, all eyes were fixed on the TV. The scoreboard read 83-79 with 1.9 seconds left on the clock, and the Cavs were about to inbound the ball from the opposite end of the court.

With virtually no shot at winning the game, they heaved a longball the length of the court to an unguarded Damon Jones, who drilled a 25-foot 3-pointer, bringing the Cavs to within 1 with no time left on the clock.

The second the ball swished through the hoop, a collective roar let loose throughout the Amazon Room, as players realized the meaningless three just beat the spread (according to Mickey Appleman, it was 3).
