Just as it looked like Phil Laak was out the door, he triples up. A player in the cutoff raised to 2,200, Laak moved all-in on the button for 3,000 in total, and then the player in the small blind made an error and announced raise when he just wanted to call. The player in the cutoff called that raise and the three players checked down a board of {5-Clubs}

. Laak flipped over A-K and the pair he made on the river was good enough to win the pot, pushing his stack to 13,750.

Hopefully Phil will let us finish this post before he busts out and/or takes the chip lead.
