One Way to Handle the Problem

A player at David Williams' table had been raising and re-raising him at every opportunity. The two were heads up again and with the board showing {7-Clubs}

Williams seemed resigned when he said, "You can raise me 3,000, 3,500, I won't get get mad."

The other player decided to raise to 3,000 and Williams instantly shoved all his chips into the center of the pot without even counting them. The other player waited to see how much a call would cost before mucking his cards.
